Safeguarding
The role of a Safeguarding Officer, formerly known as a Welfare Officer, is crucial in managing and reporting concerns about children and adults. They are responsible for implementing procedures to safeguard children, young people, and adults in their area of responsibility. It is highly recommended that clubs have a deputy for this role to support each other due to the sensitive nature of the possible reports.
