About the Club

The Greenwood Osterley Archers are one of the many local archery clubs located in West London. We are mainly a target archery club based in Osterley, West London. The club is affiliated with ArcheryGB and is part of the Middlesex Archery Association.

Our History

Greenwood Osterley Archers (GOA) was formed as an archery club in 1985 by the amalgamation of two existing Middlesex archery clubs UB Greenwood Bowmen and Osterley Bowmen (formerly Minimax Archery Club). A history of GOA requires including the development of the two clubs from which it was formed.

Club Rules

The normal Archery GB/World Archery rules of shooting and general archery etiquette apply when shooting at the Greenwood Osterley Archers ground but there are some club specific rules that archers are required to adhere to.

Welcome to Greenwood Osterley Archers, your destination for a thrilling archery experience in Hounslow, West London. As a proud ArcheryGB and Middlesex County Archery Association member, we provide exceptional facilities and expert coaching for archers of all skill levels.

Join us for our weekly Saturday shoots at Goals Gillette Corner, where you can practice various disciplines including Longbow, Olympic Recurve, Barebow, and Compound bows. Enjoy our modern clubhouse with a bar and food, and take advantage of our Wednesday morning shoots and occasional summer afternoon sessions.

Club Formation

Established in 1985, Greenwood Osterley Archers (GOA) was created through the merger of UB Greenwood Bowmen and Osterley Bowmen. The rich history of GOA is intertwined with the growth and achievements of its founding clubs, each contributing unique elements to the club's identity and success.
